Dad feels baby kicks!
Around 5:30am we both happened to be awake and I told Matt that our little one was kicking. It was feeling pretty strong. Matt placed his hand on my tummy and was able to feel one of the kicks. He was in awe, absolutely overwhelmed with excitement. It was such a special moment! Since then Matt has had plenty of times to feel these little kicks as baby Griffin is definitely letting us know he is present.

Mother's Day Weekend
Matt and I both went to see our respective Moms for Mother's Day weekend. It was so nice to spend time with them!
My good friend, Heather, had her baby shower in LA that weekend. Heather and I have known eachother since our early days of elementary school. She is due June 18th. It is really nice to be going through this together. Once again I realize I don't look as far along as I feel!
