It's a...

Boy!
We had a 19 week ultrasound today. We saw his fingers, toes, spine, heart chambers, and brain hemispheres - all positive from a health standpoint. We had the technician write down the gender and then we went to one of our favorite SF spots - Chrissy Field and read the results. I then had the urge to buy a baby outfit so we proceeded to Chestnut Street in the Marina and got a cute little outfit from the boutique Janie & Jack. Afterwards we headed to a dinner celebration at Venticello - delicious Italian spot, where we contemplated what sports, etc. the little boy would partake in.
What a day!

"Quickening"

"Quickening" - first subtle kicks.

I think I can finally say this happened the past weekend. I did think I felt some movement in Temecula a few weeks ago - it felt like popcorn in my tummy. Last week at work I also thought I felt a little push. However this past Friday night I knew it was real, I continued to feel the little pressure on my tummy at pre-natal yoga on Saturday and today on the golf course. I guess the baby likes me being active :) The best way for me to describe what I felt was as though I had a jacket on with something in the pocket rubbing my belly. It felt a little tingly too. I LOVED it and kept wanting it to continue.

18 Weeks

Today is week 18 and life is good. It is nice to be in my 2nd trimester and finally have some energy back. Our social life is once again getting a little more active. I am starting to show and loving it! We find out the gender in one week and one day and we can't wait to know, as Matt keeps saying I would know today if I could...

Family Time

We were able to go to Mexico in February to see Grampa Gary and Grandma Cathy, using the thread and needle wives tail Gary declared the baby is a boy...

We traveled to LA in early March for Brandon's 25th Birthday and saw the Littlefield's (Grandpa Wayne, Grandma Mary Ann - Baba in Ukrainian, Uncle Prescott, Aunt Cece and Uncle Brandon) and then were back in LA for Easter and saw the Littlefield's and Grandma Maggie and Grandpa Tom.

All of our family members are so excited and we thank them for all of their love and support.
